Oh I see there was two rose of houses on each side, i was suspicious but thought it maybe have always been a wide highway to winsor, i noticed on another picture i found, that the house further up was on a more narrower road than what you see here, they have big glass upper story windows. With a school facing, (St Paul) that had to move to another town. I guess to make way for preparation of the proposed Hammersmith fly over, of 1960, this was widened around 1955 i think.
    Don’t worry don’t worry , in years to come they will be reminiscing about the old fly over, just like they memory lane about the old houses they pulled down to make it. Out with the old in with the new, else we will still have wooden building from the days of King James the 1st and his side kick Guy Faukes still up all over the place, amd for the totaly indiginous, stone henge as the Seats of parliment. Stone henge revivalist construction turns aare maybe the most requested rebuilds of the indiginous long lost society, of great Britain amd both irlands.
